Mercurey and its region
The region is ideal for excursions on foot or bicycle (bike hire available). A riding centre is just ten minutes away and a hot-air balloon flight over the vineyards can be arranged (when weather conditions are favourable). In addition to its cuisine and wines, the region also offers many roman churches and castles, such as the châteaux at Couches, Cormatin and Rully.
